Gasunie is a network company for energy. In the Netherlands and northern Germany, they manage and maintain the infrastructure for large-scale transport and storage of gas.
"Gasunie works on different themes: Green gas, Hydrogen, Heat and Capture and reuse of CO2. We work on dozens of projects simultaneously, which are in different phases: from the initiative phase to the implementation phase.
When developing the projects, we consider technological, financial, economic and social aspects. New forms of energy must not only be sustainable, but also reliable and, of course, socially responsible. The trick is to be successful on all points. Sustainability is not a success if you cannot sustain it economically. And vice versa: a reliable energy supply does not help us if it comes at the expense of climate and environment."
